Located in a private location in Fountain Run, Kentucky

The builder of this loom is unknown. The loom was brought to Knoxville, TN in the mid-1800s by the Burnett family, who had a long history in north Knoxville.

The Burnetts were plaster craftsmen that came to the area to work in the downtown area. They were responsible for the decorative plaster work in most of the historic downtown theaters and banks.

The Burnetts last assembled and used the loom in the early 1930s, during the depression, when goods woven on the loom were bartered for foodstuffs and livestock.
